When monogamy is NOT a family tradition
In the Non-Islamic cultures of the Philippines, government laws state that we fall under their forced monogamous system.
I know of many Filipino family who through several generations have shown that 100% of all its male members have either extra wives with children, mistresses with children, have extra children with other women. This means grandfathers, fathers and sons… none can comply with the demands of forced monogamy. Maybe it is because they are smart, handsome, and desireable women from all around demand their sperm donations, they are the ones pursued by women. These women cared not, nor respected forced monogamy laws. These are the family’s grandmothers, mothers, and daughters. They saw the sperm donor they wanted and got their genetic material by hook or by crook.
As you can see, the myopic stereotype that polygamy tendencies are a male-only fantasy is FALSE. It takes both MEN and many more WOMEN women as shown in the example family above. If the laws of the land allowed polygamy, this would have served these families better.
